Abstract:
The objectives of this research were to study the staffs opinions and to compare the staffs opinions toward the local management, subdistrict administrative organization, Pathum thani province. The population was consisted of 1,198 employees who collected local tax in the subdistrict administrative organization, Pathum thani province. The Taro Yamane method and the multi-stage random sampling have been used for determining the sample of 300 employees who were working from the above organization. Data was collected through the questionnaire. The statistical analysis was percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test, and Scheffe test.
The results of this research found that
1. The majority of the sample group were female, aged between 31-40 years old, held a bachelors degree, working experience more than 10 years, and the average income per month more than 20,000 baht.
2. Overall, the opinions of the employees who collected the local tax in the subdistrict administrative organization, Pathum thani province, was found at medium level. The descending range of these factors were planning, controlling, organizing, coordinating, and directing respectively.
3. As the opinions toward the local management, the research also found that
3.1 an accurate planning as for the local management was found at the highest scores,
3.2 an organizing with division of labor in speed-performing as for the collection of local tax management was found at high scores.
3.3 the directing clearly command on duties as for the collection of local tax management was found at high scores,
3.4 the coordinating with well staffs coordinated and good public relations to taxpayers as for the collection of local tax management was found at high scores, and
3.5 the coordinating of the performance followed by regulations and law as for the collection of local tax was found at the highest scores.
4. The individual factors with a different working experience and level of education had a difference of opinions toward the collection of local tax management, except for gender and age, at the significant level of .05.
