Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to examine the marketing mix factors affecting the decision in choosing the bank for agriculture and agricultural Co-operatives at Kao Panom, to study the customer behaviour of the customers, to examine the marketing mix factors affecting the peoples decision in choosing, to collect problems and to propose some suggestions for improvement. The sample of subjects consisted of 395 people who were using the services of Kao Panoms Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Co-operatives. Questionnaires were used to collect the data for this study. The data was then analyzed and results shown as frequency, percentages, means and standard deviation, and one-way ANOVA.
The results of the analysis were as follows: Most of the respondents were female, aged 26-35 years, and held Bachelors Degrees or higher. Most of the customers were government officials and earned a monthly income between 10,001-15,000 baht. The reason for using this bank was found to be convenience. They usually came to the bank by themselves to deposit and withdraw the money from their saving account. Most respondents borrowed the loans for agricultural use. Other services they used included paying back the loans, and infrastructure bills.It was found that all the marketing mix factors affected the customers decision. The service factor was found to be high equality, and order of service. The price factor was found to be moderate- the rate of interest. The place factor was found to be high near the community and business. The promotion factor was found to be moderate offering free gifts occasion and every 6 months. The personnel factor was found to be moderate honesty. The service process factor was found to be high steps in giving services. The physical factor was found to be high new building and ample space.Guidelines to improve the services of Bank for Affecting the decision in choosing the bank for agriculture and agricultural Co-operatives at Kao Panom were that the bank should provide more ATM machines, offer services via the internet, and provide services outside the bank office. The bank should also assist government officials, and farmers with the loans.
