The development of web-based instruction (WBI) for a computer hardware assembly applying TGT learning strategy for higher vocational certificate students Long industrial and Community College
Abstract:
The objectives of this research were to 1) develop a web-based Instruction for computer hardware assembly, 2) find an effectiveness of the WBI develop, 3) compare learning achievements of the learners before and after using the WBI applying the TGT learning strategy, and 4) evaluate learners satisfaction after using the WBI. Sample space for the experiment in this study consisted of 28 students, purposively sampling from Long Industrial and Community College. Tools used in this research are the WBI developed, the Effectiveness Evaluation test, and Satisfaction Evaluation Forms.
Results from this study shown that 1) the WBI was effective at level 1.95 which was higher than the expected level 1.50, referring to the Meguiganss formula, 2) learning achievement of the learners after using the WBI applying the TGT learning strategy is higher, with statistically significance at 0.1, and 3) learner satisfaction for the WBI is at high level.
