The development of web-based instruction for system analysis and design subject for high vocational diploma students business computer department KhonKaen Industrial and Community College
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were 1) to develop a Web-Based Instruction (WBI) for System Analysis and Design subject in the topic of data flow diagram for high vocational diploma students, Business Computer Department, KhonKaen Industrial and Community College, 2) to evaluate the efficiency of the developed WBI, 3) to compare the learning achievements of students who studied with the developed WBI, 4) to investigate students satisfaction toward learning with the developed WBI, and 5) to investigate students skills using current condition evaluation. The research instruments included pretest, exercises, posttest, current condition evaluation form, quality evaluation form, and attitudinal questionnaires. The research samples were 31 high vocational diploma students at the Business Computer Department, KhonKaen Industrial and Community College. Results from the experiment revealed that the WBIs efficiency is 84.56/81.22, which is higher than the set criteria of 80/80. The students scores obtained from the posttest are higher than those obtained from the pretest at the statistical level of .05. The students satisfaction is at very high level. Finally, the current condition evaluation level of students is at fair level.
