Abstract:
The objective of this research was to create a measure of moral and ethics for integrity, gratitude, mercy, sacrifice, polite, patriots, organization loving, live happily in society, responsibility, discipline, patient, persevering and saving. And was to study and compare the moral and ethic of Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnbhumi Nonthaburi Center students, classified by gender, family status and class levels. The sample of this research study were classified by gender, and class levels from Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnbhumi Nonthaburi Center students, who enrolled in semester 2/2011, The number of samples were 318 persons by a proportional stratified random sampling from the population of 1,846 students. In this research study, the moral and ethical situation analysis measurement was used with some statistical data analysis, including percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and three-way analysis of variances.
The results of this research were as follows.
1. The students of Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnbhumi Nonthaburi Center had the moral and ethic at a high level of all aspects. It can be classified as follows,
1.1 The most of all the female students has the mean score higher than male students, exception only for patriots.
1.2 For the polite aspect, the freshman students had the highest mean score. While the sophomore students had the highest mean score for integrity, sacrifice, patriots, organization loving, discipline, perseverance, and savings. Moreover,the junior students had the highest mean score for mercy, responsibility and patient. For gratitude and live happily in society, the senior students had the highest mean score.
1.3 The completed family had the mean score higher than the incomplete family for all aspect, exception only live happily in society, responsibility savings and disciplined.
2. The comparison results of the moral and ethic were shown that the mercy, responsibility, patient, persevering and saving had interaction between the gender and class levels, but they were not affect the moral and ethic level. For sacrifice, patriots, organizations loving and discipline, they had no interaction and mean score difference in the moral and ethic level. For the remaining aspects, it can be conclude that,
2.1 For integrity, it had no interaction between gender, class and family status. But it was found that the students with different family status had the mean statistically significant score at the .05. Also, it was found that the students lived in completed family had the mean score higher than the incomplete family.
2.2 For gratitude, it had no interaction between gender, class and family status. But it was found that the students with different gender had the statistically significant mean score at .05. Also, it was found that the female students had the mean score higher than the male students.
2.3 For polite, it had interaction between the gender and family status and affect to the gender variables statistically significant at .05. Considering the Influence of gender in different family status. It was found that male and female of incomplete family students, had the difference of moral and ethic level in statistically significant at .05. In other words, incomplete family, male students had the mean score less than female.
2.4 For live happily in society, it had no interaction between gender, class and family status of all students. But it was found that the students with different family status, the mean score difference was statistically significant at .05. It was found that the students lived in completed family had the mean score less than the incomplete family.
