Abstract:
The objectives of this study were 1) to study the use of Buddhism epistemology for human capital development in public corporations, 2) to build a model for human capital development in public corporations that integrates Buddhist epistemology and the KSM approach, 3) to measure the effectiveness of a model for human capital development in public corporations that integrates Buddhist epistemology and the KSM approach. The research used the mixed research method to study samples consisting of level administrators and staff in six public corporations at vacate 21 persons, be total 126 persons that get come to at random easily. Data was collected for the quantitative research using a questionnaire with a confidence level of 0.96 and are valuable manner substance accuracy are lay are between 0.50-1.00. Data analysis used the following statistics: percentage, average, standard deviation and stepwise multiple regression analysis. The researcher collected qualitative data using in-depth interviews and focus groups with 20 executives, experts and knowledgeable people, chosen by the snowball sampling method.
The research findings were as follows:
1. The study of the use of Buddhist epistemology for Human capital development in public corporations found that the samples levels of understanding and application of the Buddhist Threefold Training (Trisikkha) were at a high level in the dimension of Five Precepts (Panca Sila), but the samples understanding and application were at a low level in the dimensions of the Eight Precepts (Attha Sila), Concentration (Samadhi) and Wisdom (Panya).
2. The model for human capital development in public corporations that integrates Buddhist epistemology and the KSM approach focuses on organization training in administrative principles based on the dimensions of determination, hard work, future vision, responsibility, coordination, creative mind , skill, honor, sacrifice, discipline, and good administration.
3. The study of the effectiveness of the model for human capital development in public corporations integrating Buddhist epistemology and the KSM approach found that be the way develops trend follower in the Buddhism which, there is 2 the trend is Trisikkha and Bhavana (Mental Cultivation) to cause building and asset human development of each the organization in order to push forward give the organization is born side virtue development and the morality until built born the character of the personnel who is excellent person, good person, and happy person.
