การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบผลสัมฤทธิ์และความคงทนในการเรียนรู้
คำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ด้วยการสอนแบบใช้เกมและบัตรคำศัพท์
กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยนี้ คือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2555
โรงเรียนบ้านแก้ว อำเภอเมืองจันทบุรี จังหวัดจันทบุรี ที่ใช้วิธีการเลือกแบบเจาะจง กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้
แบ่งเป็นจำนวน 2 ห้อง คือ ห้อง 5/1 จำนวน 36 คน และห้อง 5/2 จำนวน 37 คน รวมทั้งสิ้น 73 คน
เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ แผนการสอน แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์และความคงทนในการเรียนรู้
คำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ ค่าเฉลี่ย (X ) ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S.D.)
และ t-test
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า นักเรียนที่เรียนด้วยการสอนแบบใช้เกมและบัตรคำศัพท์
ก่อนและหลังการทดลอง มีผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนไม่แตกต่างกัน และนักเรียนที่สอนด้วยเกม
และบัตรคำศัพท์ มีความคงทนในการเรียนรู้คำศัพท์ภาษาอังกฤษไม่แตกต่างกัน
Abstract:
The major purposes of this research study were 1) to compare English learning achievement
in studying English vocabulary words by game and Flashcard techniques of the fifth graders.
The sample used in this study consisted of 36 pupils in Class 1 who study English vocabulary words
by games, and another 37 pupils in Class 2 who study English vocabulary words by Flashcards.
Both of the sample groups studied in the fifth grade during Semester 1 of Academic Year 2012
at Ban Kaew School, located in Muang District in Chanthaburi. They were selected by purposive
sampling. The research instruments were 1) the 8 lesson plans which were divided into 4 lesson
plans for teaching by games and another 4 lesson plans for teaching by flashcards. 2) the 40 item
pretest and posttest used to examine both groups of students and 3) the 40 item retention test.
The statistics employed for research analysis were mean (X ), standard deviation (S.D), and t-test.
The results were revealed as follows: before both groups of students participated in learning
English vocabulary words by game and flashcard techniques, there was no significant difference
in their learning achievement. Both groups of students showed the same scores in the pretest and
posttest. Besides, the retention of learning English vocabulary words by game and flashcard
techniques did not have significantly difference.
