Problems of Activity Management for Learner Development According to Basic Educational Curriculum B.E. 2544 of the Schools under The Office of Suratthani City Municipality
Abstract:
The purposes of this research was to investigate the problems in implementing the student development activities based on the basic education curriculum in schools under Surat Thani City Municipality during 2551 academic year. The four aspects to be studied were as follows: the aspects of policy and practice, supervising and follow-up, supporting boy scout activities, and evaluation and follow-up. The instrumenty used to collect the data was employed to 180 sample population. SPSS for WINDOWS was used to analyze percentage, mean,and standard deviation.
The research results revealed that the problems were found to be in the high level both overall and separated aspects. This indicated that the administration upon the student development activities implemented by the school personnel was not extremely critical. This might be due to the supporting of the policy and practice provided by the administrators and teachers and all involved. As a result, the result on the aspect of policy and practice was shown to be the highest value whereas the aspect of supervising and follow-up ranked the lowest.
