Efficiency of education case study : student of faculty of industrial technology and management, sorting by quota and sorting by office of higher education commission
The purposed of research study were attempt to compare the effects of students' learning
achievement between the Quota and Admissions by office of Higher Education Commission, and educational
waste among those students of these two groups. The subjects were obtained from 217 quota and 143
Admissions by office of Higher Education Commission enrolled in B.E. 2549, The data were collected
from Academic Service Division. Mean, Standard Deviation and t-test, Mann Whitney U Test and Z-test
were employed to analyze the results of the data. the study revealed, In general consideration, learning
achievement about General Education courses, Field of Specialization courses and Grade point average
(GPA), Total Receive honors and the time spent in studying course work, of Quota and Admissions by
office of Higher Education Commission not significantly different. However, for Graduated late in the
course of time of two type significantly different. And Comparing of educational waste between Quota
and Admissions by office of Higher Education; did not report to the university after passing the entrance
exam, Loosing of Status because of too low grade point average, The percent of dropping out , And finally,
Losing of students status because of having failed to contact of university of Quota and Admissions by
office of Higher Education Commission not significantly different.
