The Factors Influencing Decision Making for Further Study for the Diploma of Vocational Education at Sriwattana Institute of International Business and Technology
Abstract:
The objectives of this descriptive research were to study the factors
influencing decision-making for furture study the Diploma of Vocational Education at
Sriwattana Institute of International Business and Technology.
The sample of this study consisted of 300 third year students of Sriwattana
Institute of International Business and Technology. These subjects were selected by the
simple random sampling technique. Questionnaires were used as research tools. The
questionnaires were tested for validity and reliability. The Cronbach Alpha reliability
coefficient of the questionnaires was .93. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics
(frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation), Pearson product-moment
correlation coefficient and Multiple Regression Analysis.
The results were as follows. Mixed marketing and social factors were two
factors were two factors which influenced students to make decision on further study for
the Diploma of Vocational Education at Sriwattana Institute of International Business and
Technology. (R2=19.60,p<.05).
