Abstract:
The purposes of this research aimed to ; 1) study the teachers working operational morale in the schools under the jurisdiction of Chaiyaphum Educational Service Area Office 2, and 2) compare the teachers working operational morale in the schools under the jurisdiction of Chaiyaphum Educational Service Area Office 2 classified by large, middle and small school sizes. The subjects used in this research were 341 teachers working in the schools under the jurisdiction
of Chaiyaphum Educational Service Area Office 2 in the Academic Year 2007. The research instrument for collecting data was the questionnaire constructed by the researcher with the co-efficiency value of 0.97 The data were analyzed by the statistical techniques of the frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation. Comparing the differences was analyzed by the F-test.

The teachers working operational morale in the schools under the jurisdiction of Chaiyaphum Educational Service Area Office 2 in the whole image were at the much level. When taking consideration in each domain, seven domains were found at the much level with the ranking means from much to the little levels including the domains of the working security, relationship with the immediate superiors, progress opportunity, status of living welfare, working conditions, relationship with working staff, working achievements, and the working operational morale in one domain at the middle level was salary and welfare. When classifying in different school sizes, it was found that the teachers working operational morale were significantly different at the 0.05 level. In the whole image, the teachers working in the large school size had more working operational morale than those working in the middle and small school sizes.
When considering each domain, it was found that there were overall five different domains including working conditions, working security, relationship with the immediate superiors, relationship with working staff, and progress opportunity. The domains of working conditions, working security, and progress opportunity of teachers working in the large school size were more than those working in the middle and small school sizes, but the domains of the relationship with the immediate superiors and relationship with working staff of the teachers working in the small school size were more than those working in the middle and large school sizes.
