Abstract: The objective of this research is to develop a web-based application for newspaper clipping system by which the user can retrieve and manipulate data via the Internet. Such a system would allow the user to obtain information quickly and easily from any place where the user could establish an Internet connection. The online database was designed by using Microsoft SQL Server 2000 as the relational database management system (RDBMS). Internet Information Server (IIS) was used as the web server in this system. Active Server Page (ASP) was used to develop the system. Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and JavaScript language were used to enhance the efficiency of the web browsing interface. The application consists of two main sections. The first section is the management section, which performs Clipping Management System and user administration system. The second section is the section for general users, which performs information retrieval system. For system evaluation, a questionnaire was used to measure user satisfaction. The results of the evaluation show that the system performed quite satisfactorily in terms of accuracy, fast response and ease of use.

Abstract: วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้ศึกษาการพัฒนาโปรแกรมประยุกต์สำหรับระบบกฤตภาคหนังสือพิมพ์ ผ่านเครือข่ายอินเทอร์เน็ต เพื่อออกแบบฐานข้อมูลและพัฒนาโปรแกรมประยุกต์บนเว็บให้ใช้งานได้ ทางอินเทอร์เน็ต โดยแสดงผลในรูปแบบเว็บเพจผ่านเว็บเบราว์เซอร์ เพื่อช่วยให้ผู้ใช้งานสามารถ ได้รับข้อมูลอย่างสะดวกและรวดเร็วขึ้น กฤตภาคหนังสือพิมพ์ได้รับการรวบรวมและจัดเก็บในฐานข้อมูลซึ่งสร้างโดย ไมโครซอฟต์ เอสคิวแอลเซอร์เวอร์ 2000 ซึ่งเป็นระบบฐานข้อมูลเชิงสัมพันธ์ โดยใช้ อินเทอร์เน็ตอินฟอร์เมชัน เซอร์เวอร์ (ไอไอเอส) เป็น เว็บเซอร์เวอร์ ใช้ แอคทีฟเซอร์เวอร์เพจ (เอเอสพี) ในการพัฒนาระบบ ใช้ ภาษาเอชทีเอ็มแอล และ จาวาสคริปต์ ในการเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในส่วนหน้าจอการทำงานของ ผู้ใช้งาน ระบบประกอบด้วยสองส่วนหลักๆ ส่วนแรกเป็นส่วนการจัดการ สำหรับการจัดการในส่วน การบริหารจัดการกฤตภาค และการจัดการในส่วนการบริหารจัดการผู้ใช้ระบบ ส่วนที่สองเป็นส่วน สำหรับผู้ใช้ทั่วไปในการค้นคืนข้อมูลกฤตภาค จากการประเมินความพึงพอใจของผู้ใช้ระบบโดยการใช้แบบสอบถาม พบว่าผู้ใช้มีความพึง พอใจระบบ ในส่วนของความถูกต้อง ความรวดเร็วของการตอบสนอง และง่ายต่อการใช้งาน
