Abstract:
The study of “The Motivation of the Personnel in the Activity of
Development Toward Hospital Accreditation in Accredited Hospitals in Bangkok”
was aimed at studying the motivation of the personnel in participating the activities
of development and hospital accreditation in the accredited hospital. The samples
used in this study were personnel in the accredited hospitals from the year 1999 to
April 30, 2002. The accredited hospitals were both private and public hospitals with
300 beds and above. There were 4 hospitals located in Bangkok. The instruments
were 4 sets of questionnaire developed by the researcher.
The result of the study was that the motivation in participating the activity
of development and hospital accreditation of doctors, nurses and pharmacists was
motivation in achievement, recognition, work itself, responsibility, advancement,
salary, possibility of growth, interpersonal relation supervisors, interpersonal relation
peers, interpersonal relation subordinates, status, organization policy and
administration, working conditions, factors in personal life, job security and
technical supervision.
