Abstract:
This descriptive research was designed to assess the relationship between
quality of working life ( QWL ) and health status of registered nurses ( RNS ) . The
subjects consisted of 339 RNS working in the nursing department of government
hospitals in Rayong province. This study examined the relationship between QWL,
personal factors and health status. The data was collected by means of questionnaires
during May 2002 – July 2002. Chi-square test, peason ’s product correlation
coefficient and multiple regression analysis were used to analyze data.
The results of this study revealed that RNS had health status and QWL at a
moderate level. This study showed that age, shift work, work experience and QWL
were positively related to health status ( P< 0.01 ). Multiple regression analysis
showed that work experience and QWL could explain 13.60 percent of variance in
health status of RNS in the government hospitals at Rayong province.
Findings of this study could be used as guidelines for enhancing the health
status of RNS . Adequate shift work and QWL improvement should be provided to
RNS . It may also be useful for promoting the health status of other health personnel in
similar settings.

การศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงบรรยาย ( Descriptive Research ) เพื่อศึกษาความสัมพันธ์
ระหว่าง คุณภาพชีวิตการทำ งาน กับ ภาวะสุขภาพ ของพยาบาลวิชาชีพ ในโรงพยาบาลของรัฐ
จังหวัดระยอง กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นพยาบาลวิชาที่ปฏิบัติงานอยู่ในโรงพยาบาลของรัฐ จังหวัดระยอง
จำ นวน 339 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ แบบสอบถาม เก็บข้อมูลระหว่างเดือน
พฤษภาคม ถึงเดือน กรกฎาคม พ.ศ. 2545 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ สถิติไคสแควร์ สถิติสหสัมพันธ์
แบบเพียร์สัน และสถิติถดถอยพหุคูณ
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่มีภาวะสุขภาพและคุณภาพชีวิตการทำ งานโดยรวม
อยูใ่ นระดับปานกลาง และพบว่า อายุ การปฏิบัติงานเป็นกะ ประสบการณ์การทำ งาน และคุณภาพ
ชีวิตการทำ งานมีความสัมพันธ์กับภาวะสุขภาพ ผลการวิเคราะห์ความถดถอยพหูคุณ พบว่า ประสบ
การณ์การทำ งาน และ คุณภาพชีวิตการทำ งาน สามารถร่วมกันทำ นายภาวะสุขภาพของพยาบาลวิชา
ชีพในโรงพยาบาลของรัฐจังหวัดระยอง ได้ร้อยละ 13.60
ผลการศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้ ควรนำ มาเป็นแนวทางในการส่งเสริมสุขภาพของพยาบาลวิชาชีพใน
จังหวัดระยอง ควรจัดการระบบการปฏิบัติงานและพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตการทำ งานให้แก่พยาบาล
วิชาชีพ และบุคลากรสาธารณสุข ในสถานบริการสาธารณสุขอื่นๆ ที่มีลักษณะคล้ายคลึงกันได้
