A study of the Royal Thai Army Special Forces for a museum exhibition design
Abstract:
This research was intended as a study of the Royal Thai Army Special Forces and to it was also done in order to design and mount a permanent exhibition the Special which will be housed in the special forces museum at Lopburi. It is hoped that this will increase knowledge and understanding among the visitor. The research data were collected from documents borrowed from the Historical Division, Directorate of Operations, Royal Thai Army Headquarters, specifically, the Special Forces Library (Sirisumphan) and Operations Division, Special Warfare Center including pictures of past operations and personal There were a few limitations in data collection because of the confidential nature of some documents. Also, interviews were done with severed former Special Forces officers, including officers with combat experience. The Results of this research suggest that although the Royal Thai Army Special Forces was officially established in 1944, the Thai Army had unique units Semillon to the special forces for along time before this in general the museum and exhibition should be able to raise public awareness and make the general public recognize the heroic and sacrificial deeds that the Special Forces have done for the country.
