Readiness of heads of provincial administration units in performing under the CEO management approach
Abstract:
The research had the objectives to study the readiness level of the provincial administration unit heads in performing under the CEO management approach and also to study the factors having the correlation with the readiness of the provincial administration unit heads performing under the CEO management approach. The studied samplings comprised the provincial administration heads in the central provinces, totaling 242 samplings. The data was collected by mean of questionnaire and was analyzed by descriptive statistics as percentage, mean, standard deviation and analytic statistics as Pearsons Product - Moment Correlation Coefficients and Chi  Square The findings from the research are : 1. The research demonstrated that the provincial administration unit heads had the medium level of knowledgeable readiness, attitudinal readiness and the experience on the participation in the performance related to the provincial administration under the CEO management approach. 2. The period of government working in the province had the significant negative correlation with the knowledgeable readiness related to the policy of provincial administration under the CEO management approach. The nature of period of government unit responsibility, support of ministry, bureau, department and the roles of the provincial governor had the significant correlation with the attitudinal readiness related to the policy of provincial administration under the CEO management approach. Finally, the nature of period of government unit responsibility, support of ministry, bureau, department and the roles of the provincial governor had the significant correlation with the readiness of experience on the participation in the performance related to the policy of provincial administration under the CEO management approach. The researcher suggested that the knowledge and understanding on the policy of provincial administration under the CEO management approach should be consistently provided. Moreover, the relationship and the team work should be enhanced and supported whereas the consciousness on the praise for success and the dedication of the provincial administration unit heads should be built. Finally, the provincial governor should have the role to build the relationship including the continuous and throughout.
