Abstract:
The objectives of this study were : (1) to compose the mathematics of the pupils before and after the activities of using nine - colored chopsticks and (2) to study the mathematies rediness of the pupils after using the activities. The sample included 15 Kindergarten Tow pupils in the first academic year of 2004 at Bangkian School, Bangpain District, Ayutthaya Educational Region 2 . The instruments were ; (1) nine colored chopsticks activities, (2) 50 lesson plans , (3) 30 items of pre-test and post-test , all in pictures , and (4) observation forms. The statistics used in the research were mean , standard deviation , percentage and t test dependent.
The results of the study were as follows :
(1) The post-test score of the pupils taught by using the nine - colored chopsticks activities was higher than that of the pre-test at the level of significance .05
(2) The mathematics readiness of the pupils after using the nine - colored chopsticks activities higher development.
