Abstract:
The purposes of this study were to investigate and to compare how personnel development for re-engineering the management was perceived by Thai Farmers Bank Employees in Eastern region, classified by sex, departments, and positions.The sample consisted of 265 Theai Farmers Bank employees in eastern region selected throung the proportional stratified random sampling. The instrument used for collecting the data wa a five rating scale questionnaire of 39 items. constructed by the researcher. The discrimination value of each item was 0.91. The statistical devices used for analyzing were mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one way ANOVA.The results of the study were:1.The porsonnel development for re-engineering the management as perceived by Thai Farmers Bank employees, at a general level, was rated at the medium level. When considering aspect by aspect, it was rated at the medium level; ranking in order of their mean scores from more to less as follows; personnel development operation, personnel development planning, survey of problems and need of personnel development, and personnel development evaluation.2.In term of personnel development perceived by male employees and female employees, no significant difference was found in all aspects.3.In tern of personnel development perceived by employees in credit department and accounting department, the significant difference was found at .05 level in the aspect of personnel development operation. But in other aspects, no significant difference was found.4.In term of personnel development perceived by employees with executive positions, millde-level positions, and low-level positions, no significant difference was found in all aspects.
