Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to study the correlation between the levels of motivation and the performance of the investigative staff in the Royal Thai Police Center. During the research, this study was emphasized on two main areas, which are work regulations and work achievement. The results of study derived from considering overall factors and differentiating them according to personal criteria. A sample of 324 cases was drawn from related police stations, using simple random sampling method. The study was conducted through questionnaires reliability = 0.92 by using method of statistical analysis such as percentage, means, standard deviation t - test, F - test and correlation. The significant statistic level was set at the level of 0.05
After conducting the research under the methodology mentioned above, the researcher found that the overall motivation level of investigative staff is considered strong, motivation level on motivation factor is considered strong, but motivation level on hygienic factor aspects is considered moderate. Comparably as between categorized into the aspects of individuality, found that male Investigative staff have the overall motivation, motivation factor and hygienic factors difference. By statistically significant at 0.05 level. For income Investigative staff havent the overall motivation, and hygienic factors difference. But the motivation factor has difference. By statistically significant at 0.05 level. Part Investigative staff have Age, Status, For along time, Education, Situation and Part of The Royal Thai Police havent the overall motivation, motivation factor and hygienic factors difference. By statistically significant at 0.05 level. According to the assumption, implies that the performance is in relation to the overall motivation. By statistically significant at 0.05 level.
This research concludes that there should be an increase of salary rates for investigative staff. Furthermore, for the Royal Thai Police to better serve the public, adequate equipment is needed along with other improvements such as good governance, career progress, and participation of its staff to make policies.
