Relationship between transformational leadership of school administrators and the effectiveness of school in the office of Surin education service area 3
Abstract:
The objectives of this research were to study ; 1) transformational leadership of school administrators in the office of surin education service area 3 2) the effectiveness of school management in the office of surin education service area 3 3) the relationship between transformational leadership of school administrators and the effectiveness of school management in the office of surin education service area 3 and 4 ) characteristics of school administrators are the effectiveness at the good level of school management in the office of surin education service area 3 . the objectives of this research have 2 part. part 1 the research is quantitative study. The sample was consisted of 310 administrators and teachers from 155 school in the office of surin education service area 3 by the stratified simple random sampling technique. The instrument used fir collecting data was rating-scale questionnaire with reliability of 0.98 the data were analyzed by social statistic processed program. The statistics consisted of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, correlation coefficient and a t-test for testing hypotheses. And part 2 the research qualitative study sample which is consisted of 6 administrators is effective at the good level of school management in the office of surin education service area 3 by the stratified purposive sampling technique. The research instruments used for gathering data were stratified purposive sampling technique. The research instruments used for gathering data were structured interviews. The data were analyzed by interpretation.
Research findings revealed that
1. Transformational leadership of school administrators in the office of surin education service area 3 , in total and each aspect, was at a high level.
2. The effectiveness of school management in the office of surin education service area 3 was at the pass minimum standard criteria level in every aspect.
3. The transformational leadership of school administrators was not significantly related to the effectiveness of school management at the .05 level.
4. The transformational leadership characteristics of essential school administrators in the office of surin education service area 3 if effective at the good level. 1) In the charismatic, the school administrators have the confident to set the trend of change, vision, ability of change and solving mind conflict. They are good impressive administrators models for coworkers ; can identify the obvious goal of target and have high standard by using the transformational leadership theory in administrated theories such as the rule to administrate oneself, people and work, 10 Dharma of the ruler (Tossapit Rajchadharma), the rule of good management , 7s model theory , and the participated administration 2) Inspirational Motivation, school administrators have good model character for coworkers in devotion for public ;urge and inspire others to realize the importance of success ; give willpower to them continuously ; help to see future success clearly ; use appropriate language to communicate to listeners without nonsense or reiterate speaking ; have sincerity and help to assure that everyone can succeed the purpose of work by using the transformational leadership theory in the administration rules such as 10 Dharma of the ruler, Phrohm wi haan 4, sangkhahawatthu 4 , x theory and administrated theory by considering in the worked objective 3) Intellectual stimulation, school administrators have ability to encourage and make chance for coworkers to give various opinions ; frequently activate them to find new good methods for work ; help to consider the difficulties which will be appear for prevention ; urge to identify problems from reason and evidence ; solve the problems of steps and rules which are obstacles and waste time ; encourage to search for various ways to resolve problems ; help them to understand their roles and admit their assigned roles by using transformational leadership theory in administrated theories such as case study, research technique and Dharma phi Baan 4) Individualized consideration, school administrators have quality to considerate to the individual of coworkers in need and ability ; urge them to analyze other need and ability, create and determine to finish a task ; give useful advice for developing themselves ; talk with coworkers informally ; give interest to the person who do not receive ; help them to develop themselves continuously ; put the right man to the right job ; give chance to determine in their responsibility by using transformational leadership theory in administrated theories which consider to the individual and Dharma for human relation such as Phrohm wi haan 4 and sangkhahawatthu 4, Motivation Theory of Abraham Maslows hierarchy of needs in participation.
