Abstract:
The objectives of this research were to study and compare the administrators role on library administration in basic educational institutions under the Roi-Et basic educational service
area 2. The sample group was 561 administrators, the head of an academic department and library teachers. The data collection by rating scale questionnaires with liability at 0.98 level. The data
analyzed by using percentage, mean, standard deviation and F-test.
The results of this research found that : the administrators role on library administration in basic educational service area 2 as a whole was at the medium level. As for each individual aspect, it was found that 7 aspects were at high level, 2 aspects : policy and planning (X=3.62), coordination (X = 3.52) and medium level 5 aspect listed from high to lowest average point as following : promote and support (X = 3.47), directation (X = 3.46) demonstration follow-up and evaluation (X = 3.42), public relations (X = 3.23) and morale-motivation (X = 3.21)
Comparative the opinion of administrators, the head of an academic department and library teachers to role of administrators on library administration were significant at 0.05 level.
