Relationship between managerial skills and school internal quality assurance work practices of administrators according to teachers opinions under the office of Chanthaburi Educational Service Area 2
Abstract:
The purposes of the research were to study levels of managerial skills and levels of
school internal assurance work practices of administrators and relationship between managerial
skills and school internal assurance work practices of administrators according to teachers
opinions under the Office of Chanthaburi Educational Service Area 2. The samples were 304
school teachers under the Office of Chanthaburi Educational Service Area 2 by stratified random
sampling. The research instrument for data collecting was a five rating scale questionnaire with
alpha-coefficient value of managerial skills at 0.98 and alpha-coefficient value of school internal
assurance work practices of administrators at 0.98. The statistics used for analyzing the data were
frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Cronbachs alpha-coefficient, Pearson's product
moment correlation and t-test.
The results of the study were as follows : 1) The managerial skills of administrators
consisted of technical skills, human skills and conceptual skills according to teachers opinions
under the Office of Chanthaburi Educational Service Area 2 in the overall and in each skill
dimension were at high levels. 2) The school internal assurance work practices of administrators
consisted of preparing aspect, directing aspect and reporting aspect according to teachers
opinions in the overall and in each aspect were at high levels. 3) The relationship between
managerial skills and school internal assurance work practices of administrators according to
teachers opinions under the Office of Chanthaburi Educational Service Area 2 were high
positively related (r = 0.81) and significantly related at .01.
