Abstract:
The purposes of this research were: 1) to study of participation of school committee in
primary school local curriculum development under the Office of Trat Educational Service Area,
and 2) to compare the participation of school committee in primary school local curriculum development
under the Office of Trat Educational Service Area classified by status of school committee and
school sizes. The samples used in research were 261 school committee in primary school under
the Office of Trat Educational Service Area. The tool used in this research was a 5-rating scale
questionnaire asking participation of school committee in primary school local curriculum
development under the Office of Trat Educational Service Area. The statistics used for data
analysis were percentage, average, standard deviation and t-test.
The results of the study were shown. (1) The participation of school committee in
primary school local curriculum development under the Office of Trat Educational Service Area
for overall was at the high level. (2) The results of comparing analysis participation of school
committee in primary school local curriculum development under the Office of Trat Educational
Service Area classified by status of school committee, both insiders and outsiders, for overoll and
individual aspects showed statistically significant difference at the .05 level. (3) The results of
comparing participation of school committee in primary school local curriculum development
under the Office of Trat Educational Service Area classified by school sizes, it found that small
and large schools showed statistically significant difference at the .05 level.
