A Study of required competency development in the aspect of knowledge criteria of school administrators of the office of educational area in Chanthaburi
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study and compare the required competencies development in the aspect of knowledge criteria of school administrators of the office of Educational Area in Chanthaburi. The independent varibles were classified by gender, work experience and school size under Chanthaburi Educational Area. The samples consisted of 141 school directors. This research instrument was the
5 rating scale questionnaire and the reliability was 0.94. The statistics used for analyzing the data were percentage, average, standard deviation, and t-test (Independent samples t-test).
The findings were : 1) The required competencies development of the school administrators of the office of Educational Area in Chanthaburi ranging from maximum to minimum, were the Academic Management, Information Technology Management and Learning Outcome Guarantee. 2) The requirements in competency development on knowledge of school administrators under the office of Chanthaburi Educational Area, classified by gender and by size of schools showed a difference without statistical significance, classified by working experiences showed a difference without statistical significance. Comparing the administrative management with financial management, supply and housing management of each area, the result was statistical significantly different at 0.05.
