Abstract:
The purpose of this research were to study the factors related to work performance of
production operators and to find a correlation between Personal factor, Hygiene factor, motivation
factor that affect to work ability of employees at Bangkok Glass Company in Rayong. The sample
draw through the stratified random sampling included 97 people from forming machine operators,
forming machine mechanics and mould fitters. The research instrument was the 5 rating scales
questionnaire. Statistical analysis was employed for frequency, percentage and Chi-square.
The findings were as follows: 1)The Hygiene factor correlation has affected to work
ability of employees at moderate level. The overall aspects of working condition, interpersonal
relation, salary, welfare and security, policy and administration fall in moderate level. 2 ) The
Motivation factor correlation and the overall aspects of achievement, recognition, responsibility,
advancement and work itself affect to work ability of employees at moderate level. 3) The personal
factor: are age, work experience, marriage status, department they are working, education level,
income, have no relation significant with work practice of production operators from Bangkok
Glass Company. 4) The Hygiene factor: working condition, interpersonal relation, salary welfare
and security, as a whole aspects had significant correlation at the .05 level. The policy and
administration had no significant correlation. 5) The Motivation factor: achievement, recognition,
responsibility and advancement as a whole and each aspect had no significant correlation the
work itself. The Hygiene factor, work itself, are significant correlation at .05.
